Scholarship Overview
The Career Elevation $1,000.00 Scholarship provides a maximum award of $1,000, disbursed after the completion of the student’s second and third academic sessions, contingent upon meeting the GPA requirements outlined below.
Disbursement Schedule:
- $500 will be applied to the student’s ledger after successful completion of Session II, with final grades recorded.
- $500 will be applied to the student’s ledger after successful completion of Session III, with final grades recorded.
Eligibility & GPA Requirements:
- To receive each disbursement, the student must complete Session II and Session III with a minimum GPA of 2.5.
- Failure to meet the GPA requirement for a session will result in forfeiture of that session’s disbursement.
Application of Award: Scholarship funds will be posted directly to the student’s ledger only after final grades are officially recorded for each applicable session.

Tuition Discounts
- Tuition Discount Eligibility
Eligible students are active-duty U.S. military members or eligible spouses from all branches who provide valid proof of eligibility or eligible to utilize MyCAA.
- Tuition Discount Terms
- Tuition is set at $250 per credit hour for all CalMU programs and degree levels.
- This tuition rate applies for the following enrollment terms: Summer 2026, subject to re-evaluation thereafter.
- This rate is available across all CalMU programs including degree and short-term certificate programs and locations, including 100% online.
- Tuition Discounting Limitation
Department of Defense Tuition Assistance (TA) and MyCAA will be applied as the primary source of payment toward tuition.
- If TA or MyCAA does not fully cover the cost of a term, or if a student exceeds their annual TA or MyCAA allotment, the student is responsible for paying the remaining tuition balance at the reduced tuition rate of $250 per credit hour
- Tuition charges under this tuition discount will be calculated and adjusted at the start of each 8-week session, based on eligibility and availability for that session.
- Fees
- Standard institutional fees (including, but not limited to, technology, athletic fee, textbooks, and other non-tuition fees) are not included in the tuition discount and are billed separately.
- Academic Standing Requirements
- Failure to meet satisfactory academic standing requirements each 8-week session per degree level may result in suspension or loss of CalMU scholarship eligibility and tuition costs may revert to full tuition.
- Tuition Discount Limitations
- This tuition discount may not be combined (“stackedâ€) with any other CalMU institutional scholarships or tuition discounts.
Scholarship Overview
The CalMU Hybrid San Jose Campus Tuition Discount provides a 100% tuition reduction for eligible students enrolled in the following programs at our San Jose Location:
· Associate of Science in Business Administration (Business or IT concentration only)
· Associate of Science in Business & Technology
For applicants holding an Associate Degree:
· Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Business, IT, and AI concentrations only)
· Bachelor of Science in Business & Technology
Start Term Eligibility:
To be eligible for this tuition discount, students must enroll and begin coursework in one of the following academic sessions:
· Summer II 2026
· Fall I 2026

Students must maintain full-time enrollment status, as defined by the University, throughout their participation in this tuition discount and meet Satisfactory Academic Progress
Eligibility Requirements:
To qualify for this tuition discount, students must meet all of the following requirements:
· Be a high school graduate from the class of 2024, 2025, or 2026
· Submit an official high school transcript prior to enrollment
· Be formally admitted into an eligible program
· Be among the first 50 students who meet all eligibility, admissions, and enrollment requirements

Scholarship Requirements

- Continuous enrollment is required during the first academic year. Taking a leave of absence within the first academic year (two semesters) will result in forfeiture of the remaining scholarship funds.
- The student must remain in active status to be eligible for certification funding.
Award Conditions
- Scholarship Disbursement: Students will have the option at the end of their first semester to select from the CMU approved certification list. CMU will provide a voucher for payment in full to the approved vendor.
- CMU will issue a voucher covering the full cost of the certification to a CMU approved vendor.

Scholarship Amount: 25% reduction discount; applied while student is 100% online out of the United States
Eligibility Criteria
- Valid for non U.S. citizens and/or green card holders out of the United States
- Open to new Summer 2026 starts only
- Available for students enrolling 100% online

Scholarship Overview
The CalMU Distinguished Alumni Scholarship is designed to encourage ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥ graduates to continue their education by enrolling in an additional degree or certificate program. Hybrid and 100% online options at the San Diego and San Jose locations.
Eligibility Requirements:
· Meet admissions requirements based on program selected
· Submit official transcripts prior to enrollment
· Be among the first 50 students who meet all eligibility, admissions, and enrollment requirements
· Successfully completed a degree or certificate program at ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥.
Award Condition:
90% Tuition Scholarship - The remaining 10% of tuition is the responsibility of the student. Eligible tuition credit is applied at the end of each 8-week session. Full-Time enrollment required.

To be eligible for this scholarship, returning alumni must enroll and begin coursework in one of the following academic sessions:

Scholarship Overview
This scholarship assists eligible students by covering all tuition charges not covered by federal financial aid, while supporting student persistence and lifelong learning.

Award Condition:
The Bridging the Gap Scholarship provides a tuition-only award that covers 100% of remaining tuition charges after the application of eligible federal financial aid, as determined by the University.
Meet a minimum GPA requirement each 8-week session: Certificate and Undergraduate Programs: 2.5 GPA; Graduate Programs: 3.3 GPA.
